Welcome to the Better Bunny blog! My name is Lawai, I'm the founder/executive director of Better Bunny, and I am very passionate about rabbit advocacy and education. Through this blog, I hope to reach an audience that shares the same passion, or is considering adopting a bunny, and wants to learn more about bunny care. Rabbit care is very misunderstood by many; they are often viewed as an easy first pet. When in reality, they are just as hard, if not more work, than a dog or a cat. They require a lot of space indoors, specific dietary needs, annual checkups by an exotic veterinarian, toys and enrichment, and a very patient and attentive owner. I will be posting weekly educational content, so if you want to become a bunny expert, follow along!
